• Kevin Peacock

    My role: Chief Executive

I joined Options as Chief Exec having been a Trustee for over 10 years. My main responsibility is to lead the organisation, making sure it holds firm to it's mission, vision and values. I have been involved in lots of charities and voluntary organisations throughout my career and the principles of social justice and equality are really important to me. Outside of Options I am a husband, dad to two girls and an avid sports fan. I’m also a bit of a Star Wars geek!

Why do I work for Options? I believe that things can change and that together we can make a better world. I believe that every person is unique and that ‘person-centred-ness’ is about everyone, being unique, having value and being able to contribute. I've also come to love the people that I have met on my Options journey and I'm learning new things every day.

  • Lisa Goulding

    My role: Deputy Chief Executive.

I joined Options back in 2018. My role is really varied and covers a wide range of areas across the whole organisation. I specialise in Organisational Development which involves looking at the way we do things at Options and developing new ideas about how we can reshape and develop what we do. I also manage Options' Innovations and HR teams, which covers the following areas - Recruitment & Retention, Training, Staff Support, Health & Safety, Communications, IT and Research & Development. I am the registered CQC manager for Options and also the main point of contact in Kev's absence.

Why do I work for Options? I previously worked in the charity sector for 7 years and was ready for a new direction within the sector and within Social Care. My job gives me the opportunity to achieve this, while also enabling me to shape Options in a way that can enhance the lives of the people we support and make a real difference.

I am lucky to have been working for Options for many years now. I started working as a Support Worker, was a Team Leader for 3 years and I’m now a Development Manager. I have a QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management. I’m the Family Lead within Options and also the lead person for our work in Wirral. I live in Liverpool with my son Jacob and all my spare time is spent with him.

Why do I work for Options? To fulfil our mission to support, empower and enable people with disabilities to live life to the full, making a difference and doing a job to be proud of. Some people spend their lives looking for a purpose, I wake up to that every day doing a job that matters.

    My role: Development Manager

I've been in my role as a Development Manager since March 2019. Prior to this I was a support worker and Team Leader at Options. I'm the PBS lead at Options and also deliver Advanced Purposes and Beliefs training for all staff. I'm a mum to two amazing children, who I love to spend all my spare time with. • Nicola Anderson

    My role: Development Manager

I joined Options back in March 2006 as a support worker and later worked as a Team Leader for 9 years. I became Options' Quality Manager in early 2021 and a Development Manager in March 2022.

Why do I work for Options? I work for Options because I want to be part of a values-driven organisation that puts the people we support at the forefront of everything they do. I love how different Options is and how nothing is ever out of the realms of possibility in terms of peoples aspirations.

  • Jill Bainbridge

    My role: Operational Support Manager

I joined Options in July 2011 and became Operational Support Manager in March 2022. I live in Wallasey with my husband, Paul and our hyperactive cat, Nala. I am a passionate Everton supporter and have a season ticket. I love going abroad... even though I'm terrified of flying. I would describe myself as a hard worker and team player. I am not necessarily the loudest person you will ever meet but my favourite saying is "you don't need to be loud to be heard."

Why do I work for Options? Because it enables me to have the opportunities to better myself and progress. It is also very rewarding to seeing people's lives develop and know you had a part to play in helping them achieve it.

  • Angela Marincowitz

My role: Training, Organisational Culture and Office Manager

I have worked at Options since 2013, first as PA to the Chief Exec, then taking on Office Management and in 2022 moving into my role of Training and Organisational Culture – a role that uses my previous experience and skill set to provide a greater focus for our training and overall culture in Options. I oversee our training offer and all of our large-scale events. So, you might see me in the office, delivering Safeguarding training or hosting an event.

Why do I work for Options? I knew people who worked at Options already and I heard about the brilliant work they were doing. At the time I was looking for a change of direction and a new challenge. I’ve stayed because I’ve never worked anywhere else that works so hard to value everyone – staff and people we support. I love that we make a genuine difference to people’s lives. I love that I work with people who are committed to that and I love that we have so much fun while we’re doing it. Oh – and new challenges? – I still get them all the time!

My role: Community Engagement and Development Manager

I manage Options' Community Team - our Fundraiser, Inclusion Coordinator and Health Lead. I will also be educating and informing different communities about disability and encouraging inclusivity and diversity within those.

Why do I work for Options? I work for Options because I share the same vision as the organisation - a better world where people with disabilities contribute as unique and valued members of dynamic and inclusive communities. I support communities to be more inclusive and enable people with learning disabilities to achieve their aspirations.
