Here at Options we are absolutely thrilled to announce that our successful partnership with Holmwood Farm has been shortlisted for a public vote in Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative!
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork, a UK charity, to launch its community funding scheme which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bad levy – awarded to local community projects.
Our volunteering partnership with Holmwood Farm, along with two other successful projects in the local area, will go forward to a vote in Tesco stores where customers will decide the outcome by voting for their project each time they shop.
Voting will take place from Saturday 1st July to Thursday 31st August. If we have the highest number of votes we will receive up to an incredible £4,000! So we really need your help!
Receiving the grant would be fantastic in helping our partnership with Holmwood Farm flourish. It would help to provide more opportunities for people we support to try something new, develop skills, and participate as valued members of their communities by helping a local cause.
